International Community Empowerment Project (ICEP)

Founded in 1995, ICEP is a prevention program whose aim is to prevent the onset of violence, alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use (VATOD) in at-risk immigrant youth and their families (many of whom have limited English proficiency) in Northeast Ohio.

In addition, the program also aims to impact environmental risk factors that influence VATOD in these communities and to improve the skills of these students academically so that they are successful in their educational endeavors while learning the English language.

Since 2015, students of Jennings CLC have been able to take part of ICEP thanks to funding through the ADM Board and the GAR Foundation.
